Incentive Programs

If you’ve ever dreamed of actually living like a Survivor, your chance awaits you with our Reality Escapes vacations. Set up for small groups, we venture to our own private tropical island for six nights, seven days of skill building, games and challenges and pure reality TV fun. The program is all-inclusive and includes a combination of resort stay and actual beach camping with two former cast members. In addition to a limited amount of open dates for individuals, we tailor this package for our corporate clients to offer the ultimate incentive program.

The moment the plane takes off over crystal blue azure waters with 23 of your new best friends, you’ll know you’re in for a vacation experience unlike no other. You are about to journey into a world you’ve seen only on TV – an adventure, rejuvenating, physical, paradise, challenging, cerebral melee of fellow cast and crew, two former Survivors, a guy with a video camera and a gorgeous, remote tropical island.

A quick ninety-minute flight is so close but yet so far away from real life. Here on the tiny little island chain known as Exuma, you’ll relax, play, learn, experience and create lasting memories. The first two nights are spent at a quaint resort on a quiet cay overlooking the ocean. We’ll begin our experience with a little dinner party on the beach where you’ll get to know your new teammates and finally meet your celebrity hosts for the week.

When you wake up, we’ll explore our little piece of paradise through interactive presentations with naturalists, adventure guides and even a visit from an island icon. Later you’ll be divided into two groups and charged with creating a cohesive team ready for the challenges that await you.

The next day get ready for adventure! We’ll give your team a map and a boat – everything you need to get to your new camp. For the next three days you’ll build shelter, scavenge your food, compete in games to win rewards, experience twists and surprises and put your personal fortitude to the test.  And at night around the campfire John and Rich will no doubt regale you with bedtime stories, lies and insider information about their Survivor experience before you drift off to sleep under the enormous starry sky.  Your last night on the private island, we'll all venture to Assembly - our version of Tribal Council. Around the fire we’ll one by one tell our own stories – what we’ve gained, what we’ve lost, new friends we’ve made and how the experience changed us. And then you’ll vote for who you believe should be awarded the title of Most Valuable Player.

Our final full day may be the most challenging yet – leaving your campsite behind to head back to the resort. After a hot shower and a change into clean clothes, we’ll all reconvene for the final night party. You'll enjoy native entertainment, drinks, lots of great food and the opportunity to party with your new friends one last time in paradise. And finally we'll announce who wins this version of Reality Escapes!

The next morning we'll have a farewall brunch before say our goodbyes and head for home. You have had a truly unique, amazing experience – so many memories, accomplishments, friendships and fun – it’s all too much to describe. So call your family and friends over for popcorn and a private showing of your custom video diary. Its living proof: You’re now in the exclusive league of reality superstars.

About Exuma

islands.jpg

The Exumas are a string of 365 Cays (islands) stretching through the Southern Bahamas. The island of Great Exuma is the largest of these islands with its main town of George Town being the administrative center. Elizabeth Harbour is snuggly protected between Great Exuma and the offshore islands of Stocking Island, Elizabeth Island and Guana Cay and provides the most exquisite cruising area in the western hemisphere.

The Harbour extends for about ten miles and includes some of the best soft white sand beaches in the world plus coral reefs perfect for snorkeling in depths of less than ten feet and water temperatures always above 75 degrees.

The many shades of turquoise and blues and greens that make up the waters have to be seen to be believed. Exuma is still off the tourist route and unspoiled and provides an ideal location for our Reality Escapes.

Camping

You will be camping for three days on a remote, unpopulated island with no services. You will be provided with the bare essentials: cooking pot, machete, knife, fishing supplies, lantern, basket.  Other items you will have to work for or win. You will learn how to start and keep a fire using what’s indigenously available.

You are sleeping out under the stars (or rain) – no tents, sleeping bags or pillows – but lots of palm fronds and soft sand. There will be a limited amount of food provided – enough to sustain – with the opportunity to scavenge, hunt, win or catch plenty to eat.  A sufficient ration of potable water will be provided for cooking and drinking. Primative restroom facilities will be provided. You are allowed to bring (and will definitely need) sunscreen and insect repellent.

For competition, you’ll get physical, mental and material as you support your team. For the good of camp you’ll build, chop, collect, cook and tend. For the sport and sheer necessity of it, you’ll gather, fish, hunt and crack. For fun you’ll enjoy snorkeling in the shallow picturesque waters, exploring, relaxing on the beach and swapping stories around the campfire.

The Resort

The resort is a small, 16 deluxe room property with air conditioning, balcony or patio overlooking the ocean, freshwater pool, bar, small restaurant.  A pier jutting into the ocean provides an optimum viewing spot of the larger than life sunsets and magnificent vistas of Elizabeth Harbour. In room amenities include ceiling fan, mini-fridge, and private bath.
